Help with setup

I would like as much quality and clarity as possible out of my system. I mainly listen to rock and do not listen to any rap or dance music. My problem I have now is that my sub is over powering the vocals.

My current set up that I have is a 2 channel amp powering my sub. My speakers and Tweeters are running off the deck. My question is if i took out the sub and ran the speakers through the amp would i be getting more of what i want or less. Would running the speakers through the amp bring up the loudness as well even though i wouldn't have the sub?

My deck is pioneer ( 50 watts x 4 ) and my speakers ( 120 watts ), tweeters ( 60 watts ), sub ( 300 watts ), and amp ( 325 watts, 2 channel ) are all Kaption.

Why not just add a four channel amp to the door speakers? That should make a big diff!! My alpine head unit has a sub volume adjustment so I can turn it up or down. Maybe yours has a similar feature.

Depending on your speakers i doubt you would be happy with just your speakers on the amp, an easy fix might be to just turn the gain down on the amp or if it has a bass boost turn it down to where you want it, that should lower the volume of the subwoofer and you can keep your setup the way it is.

Since you have a pioneer, just turn the sub output down

When I had my pioneer, I had the sub output set at 0, and the hi-pass filter set at 125, I was able to listen to all kinds of music and never had a problem hearing my door speakers

I would try adding a 4ch or readjusting gains on the amp. Preferably the 4ch...
