Infinity makes a pretty good component set of 5x7's and Polk's MOMO series 5x7's sound good too. Components are going to give you the best sound quality with whatever you choose

I don't play too much with oval speakers, but I know the Pioneer Premier D-Series, REVs, Arc, Tangband, Hertz and Focal are all nice 6.5" coaxials.

I have Pioneer 4-ways in my front doors and Pioneer 3-ways in my rear doors. Overall, a very nice sound but it definitely is lacking a little bass. I'm about to go with a powered subwoofer to pick up some of them lows.

so yea i guess you could say that I'm a pioneer fan() , cause i would recommend pioneer 6x8 for the doors, but i heard some pioneer components today and they sounded bad ***, really clear over the sound of three P3 12's, but its up to you if you just want a replacement of if you have a amp for the components, and don't mind finding a place for the tweeters...
