96 150 Sub box, reg cab, w/ bench seat, *PICS*
Hello, I just got done building a Sub box for my pick up. Now I could have gone the easy way and just done a slim box behind the seat, but wheres the fun in that? Now most people probably wont like this because the truck only seats three people as is but with the box its only going to seat two, which is fine with me. Anyways heres a quick run down on the system and a few Pics. Note: the amps im running right now are not the ones that will be running once the project is over.
System:
Alpine Type S 5x7s
Alpine Type R 6.5 rounds
Alpine Type S 10" sub
Alpine 2 ch amp
Alpine 4ch amp
Jensen Indash DVD
Custom Sub Box
All wireing done, just need to clean it up a bit behind the seat.
Redtop Optima Battery
Directed Audio Essentials Battery term
w/ new 4 gauge ground wire.

And yes the sub is sitting flush with the top of the box, I made a fascia board to put on top of the box so that it sat level with the sub, looks alot cleaner IMO.

So yeah there it is, I got Two new Alpine amps on the way, a new 4ch and a new mono amp thats a better match for the Type S. As I said before Im going to rewire the amp rack, im going to run all the wires behind the board and then cut a few wholes to really help clean it up. So what do you guys think?
