Alpine Type R/Type S

What is the difference, which is better?

And If Installed these with my stock head unit, would I not hear a difference at all unless I amped them?

Yes, you will notice a big difference even just running them off the head unit. The stockers SUCK.

The Type Rs are more power hungry. If you plan to just run them off the head unit, i'd go with the type S's because 1) they require less power and 2) they have a very high efficiency, which is critical when running them off the head unit.

Alpine Type R > Type S any day of the week. You'd need an amp to run the R's properly though.

imo go big or go home
