I've found most 5x7 replacements to sound tinny, lots of midrange, like its in a big coffee can. Midrange seems to drown out crunching bass and cant hear the high range. in fact, i dynamatted and put alpine 6x9's in back with same problem.

Please post any experiences / reccommendations for replacing factory 5x7's
