Question How much power

How much power are you guys running off the stock electrical system? By stock, I mean no additional batteries, no HO alternators (Big 3 upgrade counts as stock though - in my book anyways).

I'm thinking of running a Kicker ZX1500 off of stock electrical + Big 3. Anyone running anything similiar (or bigger) without any issues?

Wilson

I ran an Arc Audio 1500XXK and 2500XXK at the same time with no problems. The 1500 was doing a little over 1k @ 4 ohms and the 2500 was doing 270 x 2 @ 4 ohms so over 1500 watts.

The Big3 is a pretty simple upgrade to your vehicles electical system without upgrading the altenator.

Use the search function, you will find detailed steps/pics in guys gallery's.

Hope this helps,

Well, i'm at 1250W RMS with a optima yellow and big 4.... no problems at all...

But on my upgrade i'm doing now it will be 2400W RMS and I'm quite sure a H.O. Alternator is going to be added to the list of needed items..

Would that work well as a starting battery? Or are you suggesting it as a supplemental battery? Also, would it be any better than an Optima?
