Rainbow speakers only?

I have a chance to buy some rainbow 5.25" speakers only. My question is how well will they sound without the tweeters or the crossovers. I don't know really know anything much about components so any help would be appreciated. thanks

never mind, I can't read....

components will need to have a passive crossover to use them, or be installed on a active system and either way you will need tweeters...

So if I were able to buy 4 5.25's for $100.00 would it be a good deal or should I not bother wasting my time & money trying to piece it together.

4) W130 Germanium midbass for a 100.00 is a steal if they are in good working shape, I will buy for a 100.00 myself if you don't want them, but you will need to spend more money on crossovers and tweeters

Germanium Line Xover, set here

Cal25 tweeter run 150.00 to 200.00 a set

Why are you getting rid of them. From what I've read the 6.5 are better but take a litle more to install than the 5.25. I'm still waiting on the guy to let me know the model#s. I might take you up on that deal later on if I don't go this route. Thanks for all your help

Nothing wrong with them at all, just upgrading speakers, amps and going to a full active system with a digital processor with time delay.

as to fiting, I can include the baffles in my doors as seen in my gallery free to anyone installing them in a F150

As to model, 5.25 Germs are W130
