Two 10s are usually going to be louder than a single 12...more cone area. Depends though, I dont know what those PowerBass speakers you have are like at all...

Your going to have to lift the back seat if you want anything remotley close to "beating the hell out of you", and even then, you will probably only be able to fit a sealed box, unless you can find a sub that can fit in a dang small ported box...

Depends what you define as beating the hell out of you too, because 100 db isnt loud at all...

I say 100 db to keep me out of the spl cost range but 100 to 150db is my target
I’m looking to regain some under seat space I would like to only use one side "plus the center area if I had to" I have seen some 1cu 12" up firing sealed boxed but naturally the depth would be an issue for most hi performance subs so I was curious what other people might of found

I get 120db with 2 10" in the cab. The funny thing is that it is so quiet outside the truck with all the windows up

If you can get a 12" Memphis M3 Mojo to fit, that would beat your brains in. The guy at the audio shop I go to had one in his VW Golf. It was his system that sold me on Memphis Audio. I have to M3s but they're not M3 Mojos. That might be a bit overkill.

haha...I had a single MOJO 12" in an extended cab Dakota with a 1100D...148 on dash with a horrible built box. I'm actually working on another MOJO setup in my truck right now. Hope to have pics up tomorrow.

To OP, I would recommend as well the M3 or the slightly less expensive M1. Both are very well built, high output subs that you shouldnt have any trouble fittin underneath your seat. I would say a single M1 with a MC500D in a sealed box. That would beat down nice and not break the bank.

Dang I should take a new reading with my new box installed and a good song on. That won't happen until sometime in May though

I see the entire M3 line is new for 08. I might have to take a trip to the audio shop to check things out.

I'm jealous. It is an SPL sub though and I'm more concerned with quality but I've gotten so used to the two M3s that I don't think I have any other option. Atleast that's what I'm going to keep telling myself.

True, they market that sub as a SPL sub, but in the right box with the right power...you can get some surprising clarity out of it. You might be surprised. The reason I got it is because I have had 2 seperate MOJO setups already and the new ones are just too sexy to turn down. Plus, they made me an offer I couldnt refuse on a new one. It should be here by the end of the month, so I will post reviews and pics as soon as it gets installed.
