I got a custom built box for my 2001 F150 but do the subs sound better with them facing down towards the floor, or do they sound better facing up towards the seat? There are two different models that make them able to go either way so which way would sound better?

uh yeah there will. face them down you get the loading effect, better distribution of sound throughout the cab.
