hmmmmm

I want to buy alpine type r's but, i cant find a box that will fit into my truck. I found truck boxes but they have a max mounting depth of like 4.5 inch at the top and something like 7.5 inches on the bottom. But the alpines need 7.7 at the top. Any ideas? Its a regular cab by the way.

Unless you want to sacrifice a LOT of leg room, or build a custom center console box, your pretty much not going to get those things to fit...

With your limited mounting depth I would check into maybe the Image Dynamics ID or IDQ lines, Pioneer slims, Rockford Fosgate shallow mounts...

Few suggestions to get you looking anywho.

Are you really stuck on getting 2 12"s? I would rather spend the 150 a sub on 1 good 10" or 12". As long as you found one shallow enough. The ones that Bartak1 mentioned would work just fine.
