Basic Sub/Amp Set Up
Looking to put in 2 10's or 2 12's in my Expedition underneath the 2nd row seats. I'm just starting to poke around in audio and don't know much. I'm looking for a clear, crisp bass for rap-hip/hop not booming bad SQ bass. Ideally, I want one amp, two 12's underneath the 2nd row seats with no seat lift. I might be able to make a custom box (dad's a General Contractor) to cut the cost down.
Is this possible or what do I need to change to make it possible? Money is an object....still making payments. Around the 400-500$ price range preferrably.

The backseats wont fold down. How much room is under the seats?

Sorry, I meant booming bass with bad SQ, fuzzy at high levels.
I don't care about not being able to fold down the 2nd row of seats. I still want to fold down the 3rd row of seats though.
I checked the 2nd row and there's no room underneath the two doorside seats to put anything there. The middle seat has an opening though, mabye big enough to fit a shallow 12. It's 18in deep, 7in wide and 6-7 tall. Is there a decent sub that could fit in a box made to those measurements. I've read a little bit about some subs needing space or open air to sound good. Is this possible to do? Then I was thinking about putting the amp on the back on the 2nd row middle seat...
