recomendations on sub setup
Im thinking about getting a box from supercrewsound.com but have no idea what kind of subs/amp I should get. Im somewhat new to this stuff. any recomendations?
box from SCS is what, 140?
2 ED subs would be 180.
that leaves around 200 for amp? meh, id get this one.

im gettin that one too
make sure your subs are dual 4 ohm, then you can wire them in parallel twice to get a single 1ohm load for that amp.
im in the same boat as you, best sound for least amount of money and this setup should be great, im going for it.

well im thinking about upgrading my components soon after. should i run an amp to those as well? Should I juat get one amp to run my components and subs? what kind of amp would you recomend for that?
id save on the components and amp combo. running your components and subs off the same amp will be tough because your subs need 600 RMS, you wont find an amp that puts out that much for a substage AND enough to power a component system.
id stick with separate amps for components and subs.

Which setup looks better?
2 11kv.2 ED subs in a musicmoose box
with a ED Nine.1 amp, Nine.2X, US amps XT1000D, or XT2000D?
And what would be the best way to wire that? 2DVC or 4DVC for the subs?

Why 1.- Never have been even mildly impressed with anything about them. I like to try stuff before I talk about it, but I dont even have any desire to try anything eD. Business practices are less than subpar even IMO. Like I said, I like to get some personal experience with stuff before I talk it up or down, but eD can just suck my .... Well we'll just leave it at that.
Take that with a grain of salt though, Ive just heard enough chit about them that Im not interested in them at all. Thats MY opinion though
Might be selfish and ignorant, but oh well lol
Why 2.-While still a halfway decent product, US Amps likes to stretch thier power ratings a tad on their new stuff. Did anyway, maybe that has changed, havent paid a whole lot of attention to them lately. That 2000D probably does closer to what the 1000D is rated at than what they actually rate the 2000D at. Never the less, it will still work fine. That much more power besides...Mo powa is always a nice thing to have
