Nice nice... hows the bass levels on them compared to stock? Do they crank up louder than the stockers before they distort?

a little more bass and they will go up louder before distorting. i put an amp on mine and they went really loud before distorting. couldnt blow them out no matter what i did. just today i finally replaced the fronts with some alpine type r's but in the rear i still have the cheap 5x7s powered by a RF amp

Ok I have mine installed.... clarity is very nice... bass is lacking compared to stock. Solution? crank up bass by 1 and treble by a few more and slightly fade to the rear... pretty much the same bass as stock, but with much better clarity and I can turn it up louder before the sound distorts.

On a side not... will these fit in a 98 explorer? Failing that, how about a 03 Expy?

I know this thread has been dead for a little while but I just bought 4 of these up at the same price $26. So they still have them. I ordered them Sunday and they got here today.

I was only able to throw the fronts in tonight, but because I have an 03Screw, I'm hoping the back door panels come off like the front ones did. These things are great. Huge improvement with the new HU I picked up (on the cheap also )... Can't wait to get the rears in.

I'm frozen though, that ain't happening tonight. Thanks for posting Styxnpicks
