they broke into my roomates truck at our apartment (two nights ago), and we have had 3 break ins at work in the last month or so....

It's been my experience that you want to make your stuff hidden from view, but easily accessible. Once a thief has made the comittment to get into your vehicle, they aren't going away empty handed. I've had them do more damage to the vehicle than the stuff was worth trying to circumvent my methods to make it harder to remove. I figure, if they get in there, make it to where they can just take it without tearing your stuff up.

I've had entirely too much stuff stolen to make it worth my while to have a sweet setup like jmt has.

Just a temporary solution to an addiction. I had this sub in my old truck so i through together a new box to fit there. Its not that pretty just temporary.

What thickness wood did you use on the enclosure? It almost looks like 5/8" MDF on the baffle board. I tend to build my boxes with 3/4" MDF and I usually laminate two 5/8" sheets together on the baffle for a nice solid sub mount (I go with 2 sheets of 3/4" MDF laminated on W7 or large/heavy subs). I like the idea with everythiing... it looks good.

probably got ripped of or blown....... then again he probably couldn't sell enuff crank to pay for it, so the whole truck probably got repo'd
