Okay, the back of my head unit has only one out put for a sub. It's a black connection as well. It also has a black connection for a external amplifier (center), and a red white connection for an external amplifier (rear), and a red white connection for an external amplifier (front). The wiring kit i got with my amp has a red/white to hook into the head unit. My question is how do I hook the wiring up and if i use the black connections, which wire, red or white goes in which? I'll attach a picture of the head unit instructions. Its a panasonic head unit.

you'll need a male to 2 female splitter

 

Just picked one up from Radio shack. Should work out great. Just waiting for my sub and box to get here to finish everything up!
