Sq.ft

ok guys. im about to dynamat the entire interior of my '05 F150 regular cab. just wondering if anyone could tell me how many Sq.ft i am going to need to do this. thanks in advance.

Pull out the tape measure and do the math! I figured my supercab was about 6' by 6' inside (just by out-stretching my arms) which is 36sqft... so rounded it up to 40, doubled it for 2 layers... did the same thing for the doors, and added up all the numbers and knew how much to purchase.

The floor is pretty flat, so whatever number you estimate will be pretty close to reality.

does doubling it up really make that much of a difference??? or will one layer suffice?????

Doubling helps a lot. Because it covers the gaps and joins everything as one.

Which will flex less one 2x4 or 2 2x4 layed overlapping??
