Good Setup?
ive done some research and i think ive come up a set up that i want. i was wanting to know if it would work and just how good it would be. this will go in 04 reg cab
Rockford Fosgate P550.2--2channel amp ----$200
the amp puts out 275watts rms x 2 at 2 ohm
Rockford Fosgate P3D210--2ohm subs ------$179.00 x 2
10" dual vioce coil over
50-400 watts rms
top-mount depth: 6-3/8"
sealed box volume: 0.5-0.75 cubic feet
ported box volume: 1.4 cubic feet
and then to hook it the stock HU
Precision Interface Electronics FRD04-AUX Adapter--$100
total cost $659.96
i dont know much about sound and wanted to make sure it would be good and that i wasnt gettin ripped off. And how hard would this set up be on the battery?
thanks for any help

that amp will not push your subs to their optimum power levels. Id find an amp that better suits your subs.
just so you know, your subs are dual voice coil at 2 ohms, meaning your subs will be run at either 1 ohm or 4 ohms when you wire the coils together. You can also wire the subs together to get a single 2 ohm load for both subs, in which case you want an amp tha can do 800 RMS x 1 @ 2ohm.
Or look for an amp that can do 400 RMS x 2 at 4 ohms or 1 ohm, or find subs that are dual 4 ohm voice coils so you can wire their coils together for two 2 ohm loads, then the subs together to get a single 1 ohm load. This opens up many more options for amplifiers.

For the sub amp I'd recomend the cadence txa-1000d amp or maybe the txa6004. Here's the link. http://www.cadencestore.com/ProductC...idCategory=125
