Wood Glue FTW.

Liquid Nails is ehh. Its got a chemical that can eat surrounds as it dries plus it leaves small airholes.

I mixed both on mine. Constructed it with liquid nails (the stronger version) and wood screws. Then after it was built went back over it with a good silicone sealant. No problems with air. Actually it's the first box I've done that way and the first box that had no air problems right after being built.

Just pull the driver and get a tube of good silicone sealant, caulking gun, couple pair of medical gloves... caulk as much as you can with the gun and then pump some on your fingers, reach in the box and work it in the seams and corners...
don't be scared to load it up and it doesn't have to look pretty, after all, its inside the box.... can't see it... hell, I used 3/4 of a tube on a 1.4SF box..

let dry and cure for 24hrs, reinstall driver with a speaker seal foam... then let her bump....

As long as the leads dont touch. If they do say "PEACE" to that amp!
One of my close friends had a Power Acoustik 1500D and they touched by one strand. And poof dead short. Blew fuses immediately. Had fun watching 5-10 fuses go just for the fun of it....
