Will be big time personal prefference on this one. Tons of different speakers all with their own group.

I'll list what I've done but it's my personal prefference.
Built the box and amp rack myself, JL Audio 10W3, JBL cs300.1 connected with a Line Output Converter. Also lifted the seat with the small fender washer lift.
I went with ebay instead of new to cut on costs. JL is expensive new. I'm VERY happy with how it sounds and kept my factory dash. Grand total for adding the sub/amp/box/etc... $150.00

Your going to need a seat lift for the type r 10's if they are the newer ones. Their mounting depth is too deep for under the rear seat of a scab.

i hear the seat lift is PITA to install, and doesnt fit correctly. maybe try to get one fabbed up for you (or do it yourself) or look for subs that will fit without lifting it.

I have two 10" Kicker comp Vr's with a box I bought off of ebay. I mounted my cap (2 Farrad) and amp (1000 watt Kendwood) behind the rear seat of my truck. It bangs! It isn't two 12's but the kickers sound good. In my opinion the best bang for your buck. Also Millionbuy.com has good prices of kicker amps (which are amazing!) and kicker subs. Good Luck!
