Question Speaker suggestion help

Hey I was looking at upgrading the stock speakers in my 07 XLT and wanted everyone's suggestions on which is a good speaker. The two I have been looking at are the Infinity Kappa 682.7 cf or the Alpine SPR-57C. Any other ones that are good please let me know.

I wouldnt consider Infinitys for my bicycle...'good' and 'Infinity' dont belong in the same sentence

Best thing you can do is go to some type of audio store and listen to different speakers to see what sounds best to YOU. Its hard (impossible almost) to say "Buy these speakers, you will like them" because everyone has different taste.

PERSONALLY, as far as coaxials go, Boston Acoustics and Polk are a couple of my favs.

I'm with Bartak on that the infinity's dont pull there own weight and that you are going to have your own "sound" that you like.

On those type r 5x7's, you are going to have to put some power to them. They arent very efficient and if you are using a stock headunit, forget about it. If you have an aftermarket headunit, you might be able to get a nice sound out of them, but I would def amp them.

Good Luck
