Problems! Please please help.

So installed everything. amp on rear wall. subs under seat. the amp is grounded to the same spot as the black computer on the back wall. now, when i turn of the car the gauges go to the very bottom and shake for a bit then stop. the black box makes a clicking noise. If i try to restart it within five minutes it works. after that though it wont. any ideas? if i need to tell you anything else let me know i will be following this closely today.

that ground is NOT a good ground for your amp... nor is it a good ground for the computer now.... ground your amp elsewhere

I just found a spot that was convenient, scrapped the paint to bare metal, drilled a hole and used a self tapping screw.

I would not use that ground and hopefully after changing the area of the ground (after disconnecting your positive cable), the computer will reset itself and all will be good.

I just put it on the back wall. Make it a short run and place it in a convenient spot.
