New system

I have a 05 supercrew, I want 2 10s. I was thinking about the box from SCS, with the extra depth added. As of right now I have the stock system, with the 8 and stock amp. Could I wire the stock amp to the speakers and the new amp to the subs? And what would the best aftermarket sub amp combo for rap? I am 16 and I like load obnoxious music that bumbs. Any help would be great, I dont know much about audio systems. Thanks

raise your seat with the LMI welding kit, build (or get built) a custom dual 12 box and get two solid 12s, maybe SI mags or Fi BTLs (if they fit?). nobody at your school will have a louder system.

dont ever use the stock amp again once its out. its useless (unless you use a LOC, which i did, in which case you'll take it off the stock box and mount it to the back wall and use it for signal to your new amp)

Thanks but I dont have 450 dollars a sub to spend. That would be pretty cool though. Also I heard if you get a seat lift its uncomfortable for tall people.

this is true. but without lifting your not going to be able to fit big subs so your not gonna be getting a crazy loud system. if you want a nice budget system get the supercrewsounds box and two kicker CVRs and im sure you'll be pleased. mount your amp the the back wall.

Two 10's sealed that will fit under your seat are not going to get loud and obnoxious, period, unless you just dont know what loud and obnoxious is

Rip out the back seat, then you will start to get loud.

Its hard to say if its best for YOU, but it will work just fine. Rap has absolutley no sound quality, which the CVR isnt to good at, so theres really nothing to worry about there. The CVRs will get loud for a good price, off a smaller amount of power though.
