and you said you just loosed the bolts for the front of the seat all the way out, then stuck washers underneath then put bolts back in? did you have to do the middle support to?

the middle support is more difficult because it is at an angle. i ended up not needing to do the middle one, i think Jolly did though.

I did do the middle and it was a $%#$^ to do by myself since it's hard to get it to line back up, even if you do it last.

Also I pulled the bolts completely out and put the bolts through the washers. Waiting till I'm done and it's all cleaned up before taking pictures. lol

UPDATE: BTW I got the sub fitted to the box today. Very tight and had to grind a lot inside the box but the sub does fit without punching a hole all the way through the box.

Update: Here's a picture of the box right before it was done being built. Took a pic before it got too dark to take it. Keep in mind this is being done on the tailgate with hand held power tools. So it's not going to be tablesaw pretty.

Blast it. I just put it in and sealed it up.

I just took a gouging bit on my dremel and cut about 1/2" deep in a half moon shape. Was too ugly to take pics of anyway lol

Can't wait to get it in. In typical Jolly fashion. I though "I don't want carpet. Everyone does carpet." So then I thought "HEY! I have camo left over from the rockers!" So that's what it's covered in. LMAO

Ignore the mess...Under construction. lol

Here's a shot of the washer lift. Sprayed them flat black and took the bolt completely out and installed them through the washers. Hid them pretty good I think.

Couple shots of the box mocked in place after I had finished sealing and covering it. You might have to look hard. It's kinda tough to see.

have you hooked it up yet? if so, how's it hit?

don't suppose you could offer up your dimensions of it. would like to see if i have what takes to build one.

just outta curiousity....the sub you are putting in, is this box going to offer the correct cubes of air, or are you not worried about that.

It wouldn't work in an 02 wookie13 since that's the herritage body style. Box goes on the other side.

Once I'm completely done. The box is comming out to get complete dimentions and they will be posted here. No reason to pay $160 shipped for a box you can build for $50 with hand held power tools on your tailgate.

Working fine. Just have to tuck away the wires.

Of course it's not going to blow the doors off. at 4 ohms it's running about 200 watts on a sub rated for 300.
However it's definitly thumping well. I'm quite pleased with the box. I may try a grill or something to get the woofer a little bit more off of the carpet. Makes a little noise at full excursion.

Sounds great to me. Feel it very well throughout the cab. Will work great for now till I can save up enough for my 500/1 I want. =)

Yeah, we will be on the lookout for those dimensions. Looks great and a lot better than the hefty price that the other companies offer.

You should make a side job out of that.
