kenwoods are OK. a lot of members on here like to run Image Dynamics, Elemental Designs, and Stereo Integrity. the ID subs seems to be popular because they are designed to have optimal output in small enclosures (since truck cabs dont have room for huge ported boxes).
Basic 100 dollar subwoofers. Nothing spectacular, not a total peice of crap though.
With a Qts of 1.088 (
) I would definatly keep them in a small sealed box, which you will have room for, as long as you are willing to have no room for anything else. I managed about 2.2 cu ft in my reg. cab and it takes up every bit of space behing my middle and passengers seat, and with my amps taking up all the room behing my drivers seat, I have no room.
You can use them with your stock HU, you will need a Line Output Converter. Taps into your stock speaker wires, and turns the high signal into a low level signal (RCA type connections).
As for an amp, I would look for something in the 800 watt RMS range, and it must be at 2 ohm if you are going to run a pair of them.
