Narrowed Down the Sub Choices

Just a few potentials that I have narrowed it down to. Feel free to throw out any more options. But, they need to be dual 4 ohm, run good with 500 watts at 2 ohm and fit in .6-.7 cubic feet.

IDMAX 10"
JL 10W6V2
IDQ 10' V3 (if I can find them)

Anyone have any experience with RE subs? The SE line looks pretty good but, how would they compare to the above? Thanks

Couple more potentials.

Alpine Type X
Adire Audio Brahma

All of these are 10's. If anyone has had experience with any of the subs or sees a good deal on one, let me know. Many thanks.

Some people already have them installed. I just can not find them yet. They are probably pretty limited. I saw pics of a pair that someone on the ID forum got in July. They look awesome. ID series output with IDQ series SQ. I am just waiting to hear back from ID on availability.

I just found out I have a local dealer who just became an ID dealer. The IDQ V3 10" sub is $259 plus tax. Quite a price jump over the V2. And sorry, the mounting depth has gone to 5.75".

My choices right now are:

IDMAX 10"
IDQ V3 10"
IDQ V2 12"

Then a few others but these are my top three. I found a couple of IDMAX's but they are D2 and I need D4.

Go for the IDMax. You know you'll end up with one in there sooner or later if you go any other route

I was reading on the ID forum that the V3 was a whole new design and wasn't a replacement for the v2 but kinda inbetween v2 and the max. It's supposed to handle alot of power.

It looks good for sure. But, I found a basically brand new 10" IDMAX for about the same price. Should be here next week and I am almost done with the enclosure.

lol, it was that $250 price tag that was getting me. $250 plus tax for a 10" IDQ V3 or $250 shipped for a 10" IDMAX. Was an easy choice.

Enclosure is bolted in to place and it fits. Now the long wait for the sub to get here. Should be Monday.

The new IDQ is now at Woofersetc.com for $229 shipped. See if you had waited you could have saved 20 bucks and benn the first one on here to have one.
