I have two 10" JL Audio 10W0's and a single 10" JL Audio 10W3.

Trying to decide which to go with in the truck. The W3 will be harder to fit with it's 5.75" mounting depth than the W0's 5.375" mounting depth.

I know of course the W0's will probably be louder since there are two, even though the W3's can handle more power.

Just looking for suggestions on what you would do....

whats more important is which option could you provide the best box for?? if 5.75" depth is going to create box problems, then dont go with that. However if fitting 2 subs is going to be an issue with airspace, then maybe not that option. A sub will only sound as good as the box its in.

I have an audiobahn alum sub, which most people will say is a crappy sub (i wont argue, audiobahns for the most part suck). but i basically tore my box apart and rebuilt it to create better airflow and space to almost exact specs, and when people get in my truck without knowing what sub i have they tell me i have one of the best sounding subs they have ever heard.

Then of course i tell them i have an audiobahn and i always have to show them to prove it 'cause they dont believe me.

Ehhh, I would probably do the 10w3v3.
The W0's were never anything to write home to mamma about if you know what I mean

Takes less space, the same amount of power as two W0's, 5.75 inches deep is still easily do-able, sound better. Only drawback is it probably wont be quite as loud as the two 10w0s.

But, if output is all your wanting really, then go for the W0s.

the W3 is a 10W3-D2 it's an older speaker so it's not the newer V3.
