Seat lift Question

I am installing the LMI seat lift and am having a little bit of trouble. The instructions are crap that came with it. So i did lots of searching on here and found some good helps. I know that i am not supposed to lift the bar that holds the seat back. the rear brackets of the lift are sitting crooked because they are hitting the bar going across the back of the truck. Also the holes in the truck brackets in the back are bigger than the bolts lmi gives you to hold them to the lmi brackets. so i guess i need to get a big washer. Sorry if this isnt making any sense. just wondering if you had the same problems.

I think you are on the right track. If I remember correctly, all my back brackets were angled and I had to use several large washers.

Got some washers and got it in. It looks ok. It did put a pretty big gap in between the two sections of seat. I guess thats alright. Now on to box building.

I also had the big gap between the two seat sections and i have no idea why. Took me about 3 days(due to work and not the right tools) to get mine in. Any one else have the gap between the seats???
