component question??

component question??

quick question...ive got a 2-channel amp and was wondering if i bough component speakers for my front doors if i could wire them to that amp??..or would i need a 4-channel amp??...if thats a stupid question..im sorry

Yes you can run the two channel amp to the components. They will come w/ crossovers that will split the signal to the tweeter and midrange/midbass. You would need a four channel amp if you were running them active using a seperate source for the tweeter and mids.

this is how i have my truck set up. components on a 2 channel in the front, and i have rears just running off the deck
