What year of truck? Mine's a 2000 reg. cab and has 5x7's all around, so you'd have to know the sizes, 5x7, 6x8 will both work the same. I got no pics, but all I did was use my wiring diagram to determine at each speaker what is positive and negative. Then I clipped the old connector off, peeled the protective coating back and soldered them on. I used the factory screws, but I'd use the clips and screws they give you because mine stripped out a few holes. I did not use foam on the front doors because of the rubber sheet that is on it, but behind the seats is just mounting metal to speaker, use foam here. Otherwise it will sound like those faggy Honda kids with a 50 dollar car and 5 grand stereo. That's about it, the bitch will be panel removal, I know pre 04 so I can help there, much to know.

Yup Yup, prett much as said.

Ill try to add onto alittle.

Front speaker grills just pop off, small slots for a flat headed screwdriver on the front edge of them to get under there and pop em off, like Blue steel said.

The back grills dont come off though, you will have to take off the whole door panel.

The rest is pretty much like Blue2000 said. Cut off the stock plug, attach the new wires with terminals, plug speaker in, screw it in...turn it on.

there are some pics and instructions that i found using the search...believe that they are of an install being done on a supercrew. i have a supercab and compared what i saw to them and it looks like it's pretty much the same front and back...do a search on "speaker removal" and you'll find enough to get ya going...the hard part will probably be deciding what to replace the stocks with...that's where i am at...

Instead of cutting my speaker wires I went to Best Buy and bought harness connectors.Just plug and play!
