Sub Box for 1 or 2 JL Audio 10W6V2-D4

Wondering what plans/ideas there were for these speakers. I have an 04 Super Crew. I noticed one of the members makes one that goes under the back seat but that's not deep enough for these speakers are they?

6.9" mounting depth?? You might be able to squeeze them under there with a seat lift kit. No way without one. The SI Mag fits with a seat lift and it is 6.75".

I never knew of this seat lift kit. Thanks for the info. Now where do I get this seat lift kit. I'll try a search first.

Thanks bro! I found it earlier doing a search. Now will 2.5inches be tall enough to get a big enough box in there to run my subs?

Yes you're also right about the depth.

What kind of subs??

I know the 6.75 mounting depth will work. Brypink made a box for under his seat and managed to get 1.1ish cu ft per sub.

I had the Mag in mine and we are only talking about .14 difference (basically 1/8"). That should not be a problem with the seat lift.

Hopefully it won't be. Maybe i'll install the seat lift and then if the box maker says it's too close then I'll get some spacers.

Where/how did you mount your amp? I'm reading in the amp forum that many are mounted on the back wall somehow.
