Will alot of bass effect truck performance??

Would alot of bass effect my truck at all, fuel pump, filter, lines, performance, etc?

Just curious, it makes my chest hurt when I blast it, so I was wondering what it could be doing to my truck...

might make your cd player skip, or rattle your panels (mine did) but no your truck is not going to be slower because you have subs.

nah you whould be fine, never heard of fuel pump problems. i had a 2000 watt system in my truck for over a year, and now i am replacing it with some smaller stuff. i never had any problems besides rattle.

If your fuel pump is having problems because of your audio system then that means your electrical system (battery, alternator, wiring) is inadequate.

If your fuel pump is suffering because of lack of voltage, it is very likely that your audio amplifiers are suffering also.

actually my old accord would slow down slightly on the hwy when the bass hit. this was at the point of dimming headlights. and no cap either. taking eletrical energy from the coil.

you were doing good to get 13 yrs from a pump.
