help with the new system

i recently just got my whole system done,,

i got a dual xdvd8181 deck (im changing it soon), 2x 6 1/2 round alpine front door speakers, 2 5x7's alpines in the back doors, and a custom box 10 JL sub underneath the back seat, and a marine grade JL6450 amp to power it all. (i went with marine grade due to the fact that i am on the beach pretty often,,dont want it corroding)

my problem is not about the sound but about the cut out, i had an audio shop install everything and it sounds great and hits hard but around the 30-40 volume range dependent on the bass it will cut out until i turn it down.. any help/suggestions?

i don't know what gauge wire they ran, but i'm almost positive it is thicker than 8g

Question

If your bass is cutting out at higher volumes, I would check all grounds and the amp power cable.

What gauge is your power cable?

Also check the amp when it cuts out. See if it is going in to protect mode. Could be power/ground wire issue or an impendence problem.
