Time for new subs... Suggestions?
Time for new subs... Suggestions?
We'll the time has come again, I blew my infinity kappa perfect 12.1's so i'm getting those replaced under warranty and im going to sell them on ebay. They were not bad subs but I feel as if I need more. So I need 2 12's with a mounting depth of 6 1/2" or maybe 6 3/4" or less. My amp is an Alpine MRD M605 600W at 2 ohm. I would like a couple of BM 12's but I'm only looking to spend between 200-400 for both subs. I'm curious about RE or FI subs. All input is appreciated.
I would have to agree with the BM's man. If you can scrounge the money that is def the way to go. As you know I have been running FI ssd's for a few months now and I am unhappy. My first pair one of the subs was DOA and they made ME pay to ship them back and made ME pay to repair them. The customer service is crap they dont even list a phone number on their site and I had to play email tag with them and it took a week to get one response. Then $150 bucks later (almost the cost of the sub to begin with) I get them back and installed with a DIFFERENT amp and same problem. So i just said screw it and one of my subs squeeks a little bit. But, when i get money I am going with some BM's. Thats just my experience man. I dont know what else is out there to try in that range. I always wanted to try TC-1000's.
