Boxes & Subs

In the process of making a box. My old setup from my totaled explorer wont work in my F-150.

Who is running sealed or ported? I haven't decided on which would be best. And what are some good subs for these shollow boxes. I am a JL guy. So i am leaning towards the 10W3.

Your usually not going to fit a ported box in an F150 unless you totally ditch the back seat, or throw a box on the seat.

Sealed or ported is pretty much a personal oppinion type of thing, unless your going to be competing.
Personally I like sealed a lot better. Sound quality is nicer and you actually have some lows.
If you just want to rattle some windows then go ported. It wont get as low or usually sound as good, but it will get louder most of the time. If you building a ported box you have to know what your doing at least a little bit though. It takes some work to do the math and getting things just right, when compared to a sealed box.
