matching speakers to amp. no idea?

matching speakers to amp. no idea?
So if I were to buy a JL Audio 300/2 or 300/4 amp and some VR650-CSi component speakers, would those work together? According to the JL Audio site they have a continuous power handling of 60W. Once again I no nothing about this stuff and am trying to learn and get this all figured out as it also intrigues me.
