Anyone take one apart yet to find out what's inside and what can be done with it? I like the location and the box is relatively useful but the bass just goes away as the volume goes up which just doesn't seem right...

update:

wow... so I looked at the workshop manual on this sub and that amplifier is about as good as getting one from autozone.

Anyway now my question is has anyone attempted to find a decent amp that will bolt into place of the original amp and replace that cheep sub?
