anyone with q-logic box for 04+???

for the 04+ q-logic box: how deep is the mounting depth?? i know its pretty shallow because it fits under the seat and give your sub pretty decent room from the floor, if anyone can give me exact mounting depth that'd be great, they dont state it on their site.

I have a q-logic box the mounting depth is 5 3/4. I don't suggest the q-logic box to anyone. Ive had one for about 3 months and the plastic separated from the mfd face

Hopefully the link below will help you. I'm actually thinking about buying this enclosure.

Q-logic box.

I had one of these in my truck for about 3 months before selling it..It worked fine..pumped great bass with my kicker and never spereated anywhere but what i didnt like is it sounded like a mono toned bass cause it was only pumping behind me and nothing to the left side, it just didnt satisfy me..i wanted the bass sounds from the whole rear (stereo) so i swapped out for an enclosure on ebay, real cheep that accepts 2 10" speaker and my god what a difference. Think about your needs..if you dont care about your passanger or bass thoughout your truck get it..if you like even bas from both sides in the back DONT. Oh and my seat never snapped back into place..it didnt fit perfectly.

well the sub i am using is only 5" deep but it handles a mighty 800RMS/1600Peak. i need something pretty sturdy, so i might just build a 3/4 mdf box.

im not worried about it only coming from behhind me, this sub has a 120oz motor with 800RMS it will deffinitly provide plenty of bass.

i thought the same thing till i went to 2 subs.. It's clearly night and day. And the enclosures on ebay are like $75.00 plus shipping..Prob cheeper than it'll take for you to make one.

the thing is i am using a 1600 watt sub. those kickers are only like 500. my sub will blow those ebay boxes open because they are all made with 5/8 mdf, i need stronger 3/4 mdf. but we'll see. maybe your right. and i can always add another sub later since the boxes are so cheap and my amp is plenty powerful. im gonna see how this sounds and then decide if i want to add another sub. but then id be running 3200 watts which is a ton. im installing everything this week ill post pictures when im done.

oh and building enclosures is way cheaper then buying prefab ones. mdf is really cheap and you just cut your pieices to your dimension specs and use adhesive and wood glue to seal them together. then paint it or add carpet and voila you have your own box.
