"All good things must come to an end"

Like my quote states.

I've pretty much come to the conclusion the stereo is going to be sold. Maybe, shortly after the stereo, the truck too!!! These last few weeks all I have been driving is the Focus to save on gas and I only start the truck up a couple times on the weekend. We usually drive the SUV if we go somewhere as a family.

Anyway, it was bound to happen. I will be taking it all out of the truck this weekend or next. The only thing I might keep is one or both of the MAGS...I'm not quite sure yet. Shortly, you will see it all on Ebay or the Car Audio forums.

I will still have a "budget" system in place...one that I don't mind letting go if I sell the truck.

It's been a fun ride while it lasted!!!!!

sad to hear bry, but sometimes you just gotta do it. If you want to get rid of the mags I would be willing to take them off your hands. Best of luck

I too hate to hear that but totally understand. Meanwhile the profits of the energy companies keep rising. Funny how that happens. Ok back on track...why can't you put that system in the focus? Just change the box to a ported box and slap that in the trunk? That would pound.

Sorry to hear the oil barrens snagged you. I completely understand every time I fill up at the pumps. Say do you still have that silver surround floating around the garage?

First and foremost guys...I dont have to sell the truck, I'm fine financially. I just prefer not to spend all that money on gas. I was only driving the 140 mile round trip once a week...now it's 4 times a week. That's why I bought the Focus, things fell into place. My Mom bought a new car and it was a deal staring me in the face...had to jump on it. It's just now I'm coming to the realization how much money I can save if I sold the truck too. It's just sitting there. I can sell now...save all that money (monthly payment & gas) and after I'm done with this assignment (that makes me drive everyday), get a new truck and start all over again.

About selling the stereo and not putting it in the Focus? LOL Well..., the system cost more (used) then the Focus is worth. So, I think I'll tone it down a notch, plus it will be my daughter's first car...she ain't getting that system.

Impact9 - Yes I do!!!! Man, I'm so sorry about that. I'll see about getting it wrapped and ready to ship. I said just pay for shipping right?

That will be fun pulling everything out of the truck. Took me two days on and off just to pull everything out of my old truck, and it was all just thrown in there pretty much

Any ideas what this 'budget system' will consist of?

Soo uhhh....your going to sell each bit of that component setup separate, right? *cough*TWEETERS*cough*

Man Bry, it looks like the audio vultures are swarming over you. Hate to see you get rid of your stuff but you gotta do whats best for you. Imagine the fun doing it over again once you get another one.

I will probably come up there and stab you if you sell your truck. Its just too nice, and keeps some of us (more poorer) people motivated to keep working on our trucks...

Sad to hear that brypink, maybe I could hear it once before you take off?

Don't mean to be an audio vulture as well, anyway I could take that box off your hands? I'm local so it's just a short drive down to temecula.

Lift isn't for sell, unless you are buying the truck.

I doubt you'll get a chance to hear it, but I will sell you the box when I get to that point.
