Did these tweeters come with crossovers ? If so What is the cutoff slope of the crossovers 6,12 or 18 db? You should be fine giving each tweeter 50 watts Rms , but you need to make sure you hook them to a crossover .

well for $10 you won't be loosing much. If they do have built in crossovers then you should be able to hook them direct to a amp and tweet away. I wouldn't put any more than 50w at them if that. I bet they are more like 30w tweeters.

Or dont even use them...Seems to me like that would be quite a bit of extra highs...and for 10 bucks can they really be that great?

Just go to CRUTCHFIELD.COM, It doesn't matter about the prices, you can shop elsewhere. Go to Crutchfield and you'll see a link to chat online with a rep. Ask them, they will tell you what you need to know.

i would stay away from them...they are flea market variety tweeters, and in my opinion and from past experiences of installing them in vehicles for people who just HAD TO HAVE TWEETERS and brought that type to me, they are terrible and actually harm the sound more than they help, do yourself a favor - if you want a set of tweeters and dont want to spend alot look around for a decent silk dome tweeter with an external crossover, then you can run that off of your radio if you want. the better bet would be buying a nice set of components, doesnt have to be the best, any decent set of components will do wonders for your stereo. Then you will actually have balanced sound as opposed to sound that is lacking in proper midbass and overloaded with highs and possibly overpowering sub bass...if you have any other questions feel free to ask
