help choosing a new system!!!!

Hey guys, just bought my Mom's 2000 Focus. She bought a new one. This will eventually be my daughter's car...sometime.

I will be driving it back and forth to work during the week to save on gas. YIPEEE!!!!

Anyway, I want to put a system in it. Might go uber-cheap, might sell mine to have 2 nice systems.

This is what I'm looking at for now:

HU - Eclipse CD3100 (nice and cheap)
Comps - ID CXS64 (because I've always wanted another pair / kinda forgot how they sound)
Sub - TC-10 OEM overstock (check it out: http://www.tcsounds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1013 )
Amps - Do I really have to tell ya?

Anyone want to make suggestions? No SI, no Rainbow...I want different.

haha join the club man. I was gonna put a killer system in my focus, but opted to keep it mostly stock instead.

but now I am considering tuning it with a killer suspension and possibly a turbo....uh oh lol

Yeah, I forgot you have a Focus too. I might do some common things like rims/tires, intake, exhaust...maybe a Xcal1, couldn't believe they have one for this car. lol

Haha, yeah the Focus has a huge after market following. I just found some freaking sweet, clean wheels for the foci.. BSA model 291. Now I am just finding the right tires. I'll give you a ride some time if and when I get it all tuned in with the suspension and wheel/tires....it should be a blast

I just jumped on a Focus fanatic forum (it's the first that came up on a serach).

People seem very young...at least in the audio section.

I've got an '06 too...and yes, with suspension stuff it is a little sparse right now, but there are some great kits confirmed in late R&D. I am waiting for the H&R touring Kit, matching front and rear sway bars, and the focus sport front strut support. That, coupled with some 17s and 45 series tires should make for one hell of a little auto-x machine!

Defentally go with the TC Sounds sub. Having them local, is great. And get whatever sub you want from them soon, as everything is on sale right now. I just picked up a 12" TC9 today for $150. And as soon as the TC10oem's run out of stock thats it

My new TC9
