think i've got a door speaker blown

so i'm washing/waxing and have the radio on and even though the doors are shut the music doesn't sound right. i open up the driver's side door and all that's coming from the speaker are high's. the truck came with some sort of kenwood speakers in it.

my question is i'm probably gonna leave the kenwood's in teh rear and upgrade the fronts so what are some kick *** speakers i can put in there without doing crazy mods to the door panel. right now the amp isn't pushing the door speakers, just the sub, so power is coming from the headunit (clarion max675). at some point, i might power the door speakers and get a new amp for the sub.

so start throwing me some ideas for replacements. unless it's kicker, mbquartz, name brand or main stream speakers i probably won't know what your referring to if you just give me a product number.

i want a speaker where sound quality is impeccable and has a little bump to it (i know there won't be much, hell it's a door speaker).

price doesn't matter i just wanna hear some options

thanks

lol he's being funny cause you bumped a 3 hour old post.

That's a tough call since your not going to put any real power at the speakers. I would just get some cheap lower power 5x7's

well i said that they are not powered right now but at some point i will probably go that route.

i really want a nice set of speakers in there and if it means throwing an amp to them that's fine. i would probably take the amp i have now, kicker 200.2, and power the front speakers. gauging everyone's comments on their thoughts of rear door speakers i will not power them. i was wanting to get a stronger amp for my sub so this is a good excuse to do that.

using my 200.2 amp what would be some good speakers to put up front?

I have the new style Alpine Type R speakers with a 4 channel amp pushing 90w rms to each speaker. They sound really good and have great bass for a 5x7. If you go that route... check e-bay, I bought mine for $90 a pair and they go for $180 new in the store.
