if im putting in 1 12" sub with 1100-1500 watts....

if im putting in 1 12" sub with 1100-1500 watts....

do i need a capacitor, or different battery, or anything or is it ok?

capacitor... absolutley not, battery.... should be fine
alt.... might want to down the road but it'll work fine for anything under 1600 watts.

My 99 had a 130 amp alternator just like the newer style trucks and I was running 1200 watts on the sub and 300 on the front stage with VERY little dimmage, only on heavy heavy bass notes. With the 'Big 3' upgrade I probably wouldnt have had any issues, I just didnt want to spend any more money on that truck.

Even with all my other electronic stuff I never had any issues with charging or bad voltage.
