what kind of jls am i runing?

i am runing two jl 10s and was wondering if anyone out there would happen to know what model iam most likely running there in a custom f150 ext cab box and are kicking down if that helps? i will post some pics as soon as i take them.

Maybe try unscrewing one and looking on the back? lol They are probably either a 10W0 or a 10W1.

By the sound of it, I mean kicking down in a custom box, they are most likely 10w7

wow i feel dumb, ok i will try unsrewing them as well. I did take some pics yesterday i cant post them right now cause im at work but i will try to post them tonight.

ok so my next question is how many watts are they? im using a 1,600watt amp and runing 800 to each im pritty sure that is way to much so i want to get two more 10s in the same box ive been told it can be done but idk?

Judging from your lack of knowledge in subs, I'll let your assessment of 1.6kw slide this time. I would venture a guess that the amp you possess in TRUE reality will maybe put out 350-400 TRUE watts, or RMS. Any amp that even uses a BS max rating like 1600 won't likely hit even the RMS rating hidden in the small print.

Either way, it will suffice for those subwoofers. w1a are rated 125w rms each, if my memory serves me.
