Question factory sub

i have an 06 screw and i want to purchase a factory sub from a guy up here at school, but i dont know where to connect the cables. he said they would be under the drivers side back seat. i checked and theres a cut in the carpet, but no cables. is my truck compatible with the factory sub or do i need to get some wires? tia

not positive...but pretty sure that you will need a aftermarket or audiophile head unit...i dont think there are any outputs on a stock ford head unit with out the audiophile option

Is it an XLT ?

What model truck is it? If it's an STX, XL, or XLT than I would bet there is no wiring from the factory. I believe only the FX4, Lariat, and KR have the wiring and only if you had the 6 cd option.
With that said, if you need to add the wiring than there are a few threads on here about it, just do a search.
