Designing a System for an 07 SCREW
Need some help designing a system.
I was hoping I could get some opinions from the wealth of knowledge contained within this forum on a system.
My only requirements for a head unit is that is has (or has the option for an AUX input) so I can continue to run sound off my toughbook. I already have a subbox for 2 10"s and I was offered this amp for 100 bucks.

Well, budget is the biggest concern first off. Let us know what you are wanting to spend, then we can start some suggestions. There are tons of HU's out there with the ability for AUX inputs, in any price range you can think of, so we need an idea.
About the amp...if its in good shape and works, I would go for it. 750 watts for 100 bucks is a pretty good deal. RF isnt to shabby either.
Another thing that would be nice is if you could get the mounting depth of that sub box for us.

Measure your box like this...you can see on this box I have right around 7 3/4 inches mounting depth.
Now you wouldnt be able to stick a sub with a 7 3/4 inch depth, because it would be hitting the back. Max mounting depth I would stick in this box is about 7 1/4 inches, leaving 1/2 or so behind the magnet and the box.
But just get us a measurement like I have shown in the pic, and we can find somethat that will fit, and still provide some space between the box and magnet.
Is this including upgrading/amping the door speakers (a nice set of components in the front with a 2 channel or something)

I do not know much about car audio. I want my system to be loud but clear. I listen to a lot of pop, indie music, punk rock, ambient, etc. I just want everything to be loud but clear. IDK what I would need to accomplish that

I like JL Audio WO2 Subs, Eclipse Head Unit, Boston Acustic Mids, and a 500watt Alpine Amp. This combination has a very clear ,Load, sound and bumps like all getout. Ive had (1) 12" Sub and Ive had (2) 10's both sound good but the 12 sounded best.
