I believe the stealth box could be found on ebay. If you install it let me know how it fits I am thinking of getting one instead of making my own.

 

I have a stealth box for my 2004 Screw. Fits very well and sounds great. I bought it from an authorized dealer here in Canada though.

 

i went to my local sound advice and ordered it. It should be here in a week. Im thinking about going with the JL 500/5, if i do i gotta pick out front and rear speakers. Anyone with ideas?

 

I'm thinking the same thing,

Front - XR570-CSi - Finding prices of $125 -150 - component set, not as expensive as the XR thought

Rear - TR570-CXi - prices about $70 - 90 - most guys don't mess with the back set, just dynamat with OEM speakers - but this would keep it full JL

Also thinking about the Remote Bass Control

I was thinking about going with a 300/2 bridged for the sub, and running the doors with a 300/4. The 300's have better THD, though just slightly. The guy at the audio store recommended the 500/5, but I’m still not sure.

 

Where are you finding prices for the xr570 like that? everything i have found had been well over 200. I got some tr570s on the way already. Got them for $70. Im still shopping around for amp also. Im going with the 500/5. Let me know.

 

This sounds like what I was going with. Let me know how this set up sounds. I broke my wrist in 3 places Wed night playing basketball with the RA's at church and my income is going to be limited for awhile. I'll let everyone know how the duck pays. LOL.
I would like to hear a comparison of the JL box and the MTX amplified box though. I know the JL will sound better but will it sound $450 better.

Banzai83, I called kristy today and got my amp and the xr570 ordered today. Got them for 210 like u said, only this is they are out of stock so i gotta wait a week. Thanks for your help. Ill keep everyone posted on how it turns out.
