Thanks. Makes it insurance-friendly too. Anything bolted down is covered.

Got lucky with the vinyl. I just brought a floor mat into a local craft store and found a gray that I thought would work. (They only had 2 colors) It's not a national chain store, so I don't have a color-code or manufacturer that would do you any good.

I knew a color-match would be impossible, but since there are so many different grays already in the interior, you really can't go wrong.

Four 8's @ 1800w is going to knock fillings out.

I was afraid someone would ask me that... I hacked the factory openings when I tried to make them bigger. Turns out I didn't need to make them bigger, I just needed to use the right mounting flange and they fit perfectly.

So, no...no embarassing pics :o

Particularly the oversize hose for running your RCA's from the amp to the truck side.

As Augs said, that tubing with all the rca's and speaker wire in it is nice. I had planned to do that but didnt want to wait on supplies

Hey, Backwards150!

Awesome, clean, detailed, meticulous installation! My own system is not worthy, but I think I'm happier with the amount of work that was required!

Congrats, man! I wish I could hear it!

Thanks again. I wish you could hear it too. The double 8's hit nice and hard, and they're super tight, which is exactly what I was going for. The Infinity tweeters can get a little edgy, especially with mp3s, but they're tweakable.

Using the Alpine's ch 1 & 2 for the fronts and bridging 3 & 4 for the subs is a great match. It's a very well-balanced system. I would have a hard time building a better system for $1200.
