I have a 300 watt amp and am about to buy a set of Infinity Reference 6812cf

q#1. can i plug in the new speakers and then the amp to the speakers and be set.

q#2. i am going to use the stock hu to install the amp for the speakers am i gonna have to take out the headunit

1. Im not sure exactley what you are asking here.

2. Its easiest to tap into your speaker wires back there, where they are all right there.

 

I think your going to need a line out converter.

1) Run power from battery to amp (Fuse it).
2) Remote line to LOC
3) Rca's to amp/LOC
4) Speaker wire to amp.

I myself am not a super audio techie but I think thats the what you need to do. And yes you will have to take out your h/u to install the LOC.

Close You need to run your remote/turn on wire to the HU to the amp, not to the LOC.
