Time for new subs again, help

Well both of my SSD's are toast already. One had a bad voice coil and squeeked really bad and the other wouldnt even turn on. I have contacted FI and just asked for my money back, so now im back in the market. I've got $400 to spend on subs, and the depth of the box is 6.5. I really really really want some mags but dont think i can find 2 for that cheap. Thanks guys

damn man, did you set the gains correctly?.... that amp must be a beast ... mine hit harder now than they did the first 2 weeks i got them... sorry to hear that bro.

-btw, you didnt play the system with the seat down did you? ... i know that i blew some subs way back in the day when i had a reg cab truck b/c the cone was hitting the back of the seat and misaligned the voice coil. I was thinking that if you had your seat down maybe your subs were hitting it and caused it? if not, i guess you just over powered them.

i really dont have any other suggestions, but when i was making my decision the subs i was contemplating were RE SE, mass destruction (sidewinder), massive audio (CW), soundsplinter RL-p, soundstream t4... but SSD were the best for the money and mounting depth.... and i also wanted SI mags but couldnt find them even used for cheap enough to fit my budget. Good luck on finding something!

Yea man, they were shot from the start. The gain wasn't even turned up a quarter of the way. I cant stand that high pitch squeel and the burps from the woofers. I've hear nothing but great things about the woofers but two ****ed up ones, i can understnad one but two! come on. And rowdy that amp is a hugeee beast

How about the Stereo Integrity BM 12? Other than that, probably the only thing I would consider is the IDQ or Arc 12" subs. If you could hold off, you might could look in to the new IDQ but, you probably do not want to wait any longer than you just have to

Could be a possibility. But i dont think either one would get loud enough for my likings. However the BM might be feasable for my needs..

What about these? I've been really curious to try these out.

Check out the SX series, they have 1000 watts a piece power handling.
EDIT: Sorry, check out the SE series they are for sealed enclosures... The SX series is for ported enclosures

J, I don't remember are you looking for 10's or 12's? Everyone is talking like you was running 12's though. Just asking cause I'll have a BM10 collecting dust here in a few weeks.

Yes sir, they were 12's. There is a group buy for the BM's and im thinkin if they get down to about 200 ill jump on. But right now im leaning towards the tc-1000.
How've you been impact? Your tour over?

Wow and now people are gathering to do a group buy after I buy my BM12's

It's been pretty good so far. Course Air Force food sucks some major b's and if it wasn't for that the tour would be great.

I'll be getting home in about a week. I can't wait to start building my box for my BM12's! Hoping to make it curve up into a platform to hold my XBOX up for the kids to get easier access. Should prove to be a interesting design.

I think you must not have broke the subs in correctly or somethin john ... just cant see how these could have blown... i dont think bm's will be as loud as what you are wanting.... TC1000 not a bad route.... i mean someone on here told me that they are who used to make audiomobiles, and those were bad *** subs.
