Tweeters in the Doors

Hello all, I am new to this forum.
I just took delivery of my F-150 S Crew that I ordered about 7 weeks ago. I made a bone-head mistake and assumed that the Audiophile sound system came with the factory navigation option. I was wrong and now need to add the Audiophile components.
I have read great threads on this forum regarding the addition of the sub under the LH rear seat but almost no mention of the tweeters in the front doors. I see the plug for the sub under the seat but my question is, “how do you add the tweeters?”
I don’t see any wires for them.
Am I going to need to run my own wires all the way to the navigation/stereo?

Thanks in advance.

I think you can add the extra wiring. I think that the audiophile speaker has a built in crossover that has an extra plug on it that goes to the tweeter. If it was me, i would just buy component speakers like MB Quart or something that has a better crossover and install those. Why spend the $ for factory crap.

Thanks for the reply.
You make a good point and it probably will not be much more expensive that buying a FORD part.
